At Hyacinth Bean

I finally got the snake plant I’ve been thinking about for a long time!

Today I went to get new tires (ugh, so expensive yet so necessary) and while I was waiting for them to get done I moseyed down to a local florist called Hyacinth Bean. The website makes it seem like all they do is flower arrangements, but they actually have quite the supply of houseplants as well. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. And the prices are great! My plant only cost me $11 and it’s huge. I’m kind of ashamed I’ve never been before.

The horticulturist assured me that snake plant would be ok even in a room with no windows as long as it got some light, so I decided to go for it.

There were so many cute planters there too. I love the gold stars on this one!

All these succulents make me yearn for more natural light in my apartment.

And no store is complete without a cute cat to greet you!

I can’t wait to get my snake plant in its permanent home. I just love how it shoots straight up in dramatic lines. HOPEFULLY I will have it all situated by next week.
